Soulfoot2 March 11th! Bboy/bgirl battle!!

http://www.djcolione.com/soulfoot/soulfoot_cover.jpg http://www.djcolione.com/soulfoot/soulfoot_back.jpg Soul Foot 2 Saturday March 11, 2006 2pm - 7pm (doors 2pm, battle 3pm) 3 on 3 Rocky Mountaineer Train Station 1755 Cottrell Street (off Terminal Avenue), Vancouver DJS: Bles One (Seattle), Mr. Rumble (Vancouver) + Shortee Blitz (UK) JUDGES: Flipz (Skill Methodz), Luigi (Rock Steady Crew), Lady Jules (Footwork Fanatix) Prizes: Cash + Gear + ??? + ??? FLOOR: 20x20 or 24x24 linoleum with underlay. This will be the illest jam Vancouver / Western Canada has ever seen. The venue will host about 1000 people. There will be bleachers, standing and sitting room. Video screens, sound stage and more! Because this is going to be such a huge event for Vancouver I would appreciate any help in spreading the word. We will need more than just bboy friends to fill the spot. I will have flyers and posters this week. Anybody willing to put some up in their schools, or community centres please hit me up on the PM. And I will get you guys some flyers. the ???s are things still being negotiated / surprises. I am working on bringing in another international dj / djs ... and the prizes ... well... in the words of Steelo, the judge who couldn't make it ... they are going to be banoodles. Questions about the jam, ask here! Questions about helping promote Pm. All crews must pre-register. Email info@soulfoot.ca Tickets will be available at your local stores this coming week. CLASSES: Class 1: Friday March 10, 430pm - 530pm @ Harbour Dance Centre. (Focus on Tops, Foundation) Class 2: Sunday March 12, 4pm - 5pm @ Harbour Dance Centre. (Focus on dynamic, power moves, and freezes) * Both of these classes with focus more on the foundational aspects of the moves. The tops / footwork class will break down steps, and talk about rocking, uprocking, etc. The power moves class will break down some basics, talk about approaches for different moves. They will be more general and cater to a lot of people. Anyone interested in taking class from these cats will benefit. I just want to make sure you know it'll be a class, not a session. Of course, at the end of the class, there will probably be a few mins to get down, and try different things...) DVDs, CDs, SHIRTS! At the event we will have DVDs (Soul Foot 1, Killafornia, Laughin' Rocks), CDs (Pancake Breakz, Bles One CDs, Shortee Blitz CDs) and Shirts (Ill Soul Foot Red / Metallic) Shirts for sale. Bring some extra cash! PRE-PARTY w/ BLES ONE! @ Shine. Friday, March 10. If you are registering, let me know if you want guestlists for your crew. After-Party w/ ROB SWIFT, Shortee Blitz @ Richards on Richards. Saturday, March 11. No hook ups here for competitors. Maybe if you win ... Tickets ON SALE NOW $10 in advance.
