Yeah... unfortunately due to my work committments in planning the Europe trip that I'm going on next week, I literally just found out about this myself yesterday.

It's a shitty situation, but to those that don't like Trance and bought a ticket, of course you have the option of a full refund.

Keep in mind, this decision came as a result of people not buying tickets, not at error on our part. Kamal and Harp did a wicked job promoing the show... flyers, posters, you name it.

At the end of the day, making decisions like this come with the territory of throwing parties.

actully it wasent a burn
its just you guys should have known better then to throw a party @ riverside
1 week before the biggest outdoor of the year (apex)
i think this party would have sold out if it were outdoors

If you guys were smart you would set up the decks anyways and allow open tables for anybody who wants to go in a drop a few tracks, without getting paid of course.

besides if they decided to close the second room as a result of not enough ticket sales then think about how many refunds that may be issued... In all the most likely scenario is that they may not even make expected profit and even possibly a loss.

What da fuck is this negativity about? This is a wicked party only to look forward to unfortunately you can't control the ticket sales, I am not a promoter but I saw the flyer for this on every poll around lower mainland so. Sometimes it will sell sometimes it just won't, there's was something for breaksfans too Markus Schulz and MIKE are legends though they won't be back for awhile we are not in europe too bad trance isn't as big as I wish it was otherwise believe me this would've been sold out over there.

Like it was already said... that costs cash.

The venue charges extra for using that room... as would security... and then sound/lighting on top of that... it's not worth it.
