Gauchos

Are they already out of style after one year? I havnt seen them anywhere on the racks. I loved them as they were perfect for spring and summer. Please stay for one more season!

I have a cheep pair that I wear around the house. I want to get a new pair though because they kind of have some ugly gold snake ironed onto one leg. I guess that's what I get for shopping at Sirens on a whim lol. If you see any around post it up.

They've got them at Costa Blanca right now, and I think I saw some at Off the Wall. I love them, especially the lycra/spandex ones bc I can eat as much as I want and they just stretch WITH the tummy! ahahah :D

I got mine last year from Arizia... im surprised because I didn't see any at park royal last week. Not to mention a very small selection of caprice that were mostly sold out. Metro today, wish me luck!

never liked them... matter of personal opinion I guess.

Saw them at lulu and loved them, but the smallest size they come in was a 4 :( Ill try them on next time, but I doubt they'll stay up :(:(

I tried nearly every store in Metro today. Lulu lemon was the only place that had them. Actually there size 4 fit me ok in the waist, but there was a bit of a bulge in the bum... stupid small ass. Im rather surprised that they dont have anything smaller than a 4 too... what size are all the 10-14 year olds wearing than?

That's the problem, they are wearing them and left none for us!!!

Although if it's just the bum that is a bit big on you maybe I'll fit in the 4's. :p

also, I am glad I can wear my gauchos again this season, as I wanted to the other day and waned cause I thought they were out.

btw the small sizes dissapear so quick because there are a lot of asians, but the stores still get the same amount of size 0, 1, 2, as every other size. you go anywhere but north america, and all of a sudden small is medium, medium is large, etc. thank the enormous yankees and everybody who spends too much time on the couch

That's not true.
Retailers have allocators at head-office that research sales data from each separate store in each district/region and build new size runs based on that data. For example, my store sells mens tees in M like hot cakes, but not so much XL, so for a specific item we'll get 8 M and 3 XL whereas a store in a different area that sells lots of XL will get 8 XL and 3 M. There's a very fine science to allocation - the problems for customers arise when they want things on sale because obviously retailers allocate items with the goal for them to be sold at regular price rather than on clearance.

Actually every store is different. I find I cant shop in a lot of American based stores because there smallest size is usually a fake 2 or 4 meaning the 2 is really a 4 and the 4 is really a 6 and they never have 0's or you have to order them. UK base stores and Canadian based stores such as Arizia match sizes and often come in xs and xxs too. This is why im so confused why lulu lemon which is related to Ariza, is catered for healthy fit yoga people, and is loved by 10-14 year olds... wouldn't have smaller sizes??? I dont get it... I WANT GAUCHOS!

Avana I hope we get a few more seasons of gauchos. I still see lots of ppl wearing them already.

Actually every store is different.

it must have been that the stores ive worked for had shitty allocators, because we would usually get the same amount of every size no matter what. this would have been s m l and xl though, i never worked with the number scale (except waist size in inches)

...gauchos came in 3 years ago.they didnt get bastardized up until a year to a year and a half ago.

I loved wearing them when I was pregnant,but I wont be caught dead wearing them out of the house anymore.Ill only rock them in the comfort of my own home.
