I'm still pissed at myself that I didn't pick up the shirt I saw in Sydney that depicted Ug boots with the caption "Not cool."

Actually I think it was a girl's shirt. So I'm pissed I didn't force my friend to buy it.

Ugg-like boots with an 8-inch platform ar not a good idea.

Most Japanese girls (at least, the ones in Tokyo) wear exactly the same thing. A girl I knew was there around the same time as me.. she was really into fashion and professed to be surprised and disappointed that there was so little creativity and personal style to be found.

Even the harajuku girls with their nutty outfits.. those outfits are sold as one full ensemble at stores in the area. They don't put it together themselves..

A large percentage of the people rocking LV, Gucci, Coach, Chanel etc. in this city are rocking total fakes. I think rocking fakes takes away from the whole idea of having something that is a big brand, if you're taken by the whole prestige of having expensive designer handbags, sunglasses, etc. then you have to realize that the quality and design associated with those brands come with having a real one. The people that care the most about seeing you with that brand can probably easily spot a fake anyways.

oh, and it's tacky too.

There are a lot of really good quality handbags, sunglasses, etc. out there that are affordable, but not the same brands. So if the cost is an issue, try that before you try a fake.

I agree. Although I think most of those brands are terrible (just not my style I guess).
