Well despite being 2 weeks ago this was a great event. I had to work so I only caught the end of the second last Film (forget the name) and "Freestyle: The Art of Rhyme". The one I caught the end of was awesome with a ton of artists commenting on different aspects of Hip Hop while "Freestlye..." did an awesome job chronicalling freestyling, its major contributers (Mos Def, Aceyalone, Supernatural, Juice and a ton more), its history and some amazing battles and Cyphers. Watching the Supernatural/Craig G/Juice battles and how they all came to be was wicked. I didn't like "Freestyle..." quite as much as I liked "Scratch" (also from Palm Pictures) but it's definitely worth checking out.

The sound in the room was a little bit 'hissy' but other than that, no complaints. Thanks Spectrum for putting on this FREE event.
