Free jazz show Mon. March 20th @ the sfu pub
For those of you who are into jazz (big band style), this may be for you. This monday (march 20th) at 7pm we booked the sfu pub to have 2 bands come and play. Mr. Dave and I are in both groups.
The 2 groups are... SFU Jazz: made up of a bunch of sfu students that have played for a fair number of years and dont want to give it because they're taking other things in school. It's student run (I run it), so come out and support! FAT Jazz: A band made up of mostly school music teachers and filled in with some other people (FAT= friends and teachers, hey i know its cheesy, i didnt pick the name!). The group has been around for over 20 years or something like that, and there are some really freaking talented musicians in the group. We've also got a pretty awesome singer as well. So, if you are a friend or you just want to hear some live jazz for free (or by donation should you feel like supporting) then come and check it out! Starts at 7pm, and seeing as its a pub theres even beer and food! How can you go wrong?? Got any questions or anything, feel free to PM me!

Thanks so much for coming out! It means a lot when people come out and support, I hope you had fun! And yes, we must hang out sometime soon again, it has been way too long. And hopefully without some creepy fat chick hitting on me... I was totally in shock about some of the things she said to me! Ill tell you about it later...

She came up to me right after we finished and was like
"hey Ryan, you need to introduce me to your mom!". I was very confused and thought that I must know her from somewhere so I just said sure. She then asked me to come and play one of the songs for her at her house and I said uhhh, no. Then she followed me like a lost puppy until I ditched off to the bathroom to get some cover. Then while I was gone she went up to my mom and jake and kiri and introduced herself as "Ryans friend" and told them that I was going to introduce her in a few minutes anyway. So I find out I have never met her before and get creeped out. When I go to leave, I go to say bye to one of the band members and the chick was sitting at the table and she looks at me all slutty like and asks... "so where are we going?" "Uhhh, I am going home" "Well I can come with you" "Uh, no" Then the chick's mom (or something) says, "his mom is there, leave him alone!". To which she replies "His mom's not sleeping in the same bed". .... Jesus, fucking fat slut. I'm scarred. I can just picture her fucking giving me the creepy eye and trying to put her lip chap on all sexy. I think I need to go throw up.
