24 Hour Relay w/ Slowdjs, Needle Clothing and Remix!

It is that time again. We need members for our 24 Hour Relay Team sponsored by Slowdjs, Needle Clothing Co. and Remix! Sound and Light. This year will be extra special because our team will be hosting a stage from midnight until 5am featuring Vinnie the Squid, Lidster, Skilla, Eyespy, SmitchP, Loftey, Ricco, Rhiannon and the General.

Date: Saturday June 17th 10am - Saturday June 18th 10am

What is the 24 Hour Relay? It is a 24 hour charity event at Swangaard Stadium in Burnaby supporting the BC Lions Society and sponsored by Labbats. There is usually over 10,000 people there with music, volleyball tournament, beer garden, restaurants...really just a great excuse to party and a great cause to support.

One person must be walking, running, or even crawling from our team at all times...after all it is a relay. The track takes about 45 minutes to walk and 20 minutes to run. What we are asking from for all of our team members is $25 to join the team (which will include a Slowdjs, Needle and Remix! shirt or tank top) and a committment of atleast a 4 hour time period where you will be able to go around the track at least once (pairs are fine, and if you want to committ to more, that would be even better).

We will also be holding a fundraiser on May 26th @ Cherry Bay Beach Club. DJs will be announced soon. $10 (free drink before 10:30). All money goes to the BC Lions Society.

To be honest I don't know. I've never gone and not been part of a team. I think they close it off at some point and unless you are you aren't allowed into the main area.

I'll see if I can find out and let you know.
