Also... Anyone wondering what to bring, i know the foodbank is always looking for a few certain things:

*Canned Meats, Soups & Stews
*Canned Fish & Meats
*Pasta, Pasta Sauce & Rice
*Canned Beans, Fruits & Vegetables
*Baby Formula & Diapers

but... i know that the foodbank can TRIPLE their buying power with any cash donations they receive, so keep that in mind too!

We were planning on starting this around noon so people can come out, get some food have some fun and not tie up their evening.

** Just to remind all members, we will not being encouraging any alcohol consumption at this event as it is situated in a public venue, and we wouldn't want to chance the shut down of the event. With this warning in place, those who choose to bring alcoholic beverages to the event, we ask that you drink it away from the event or you will be politely asked to leave.

Those who wish to bring extra BBQ gear to help with the event, please feel free to do so. The more the merrier.

Suggestive venue: Near the roller hockey rink (5 minutes from the Aquatic Centre)

Start time: 12pm

Food being provided: Hot dogs, Hamburgers, Soft drinks

If anyone wants to donate some food (potluck style), or just an extra pair of helpful hands, please PM me.

Winston will be posting some pics of the suggestive venue at a later time.

"Suggestive" gives the members a general idea of where we will be situated. Any other areas in English Bay that may be suitable? I'm open to suggestions. :)

The area isn't too hard to find... basically go down to the bottom of Thurlow and look for the roller hockey rink and parking lot as that is where we will be setting up. I am hoping to be able to find a tent to setup which will make it easier for people to see the location.

It doesn't matter if you missed our fundraisers in the past just make it out to this one! :c-tard:

Tell everyone that has time to grab a few items of food and come exchange them for hotdogs, smokies or hamburgers. It'll be a lot of fun and a great way to meet other FNK'ers at the same time.

Due to the recent weather change, we will be monitoring the amount of rain fall until Thursday evening, and decide whether or not to pursue the event, and make arrangements to postpone it until the sun comes back.
