Just wondering if you guys got hit yet...2 other forums I'm on have been nailed, and end up with 20-50+ guests on at a time for almost 4 days straight...

If not, heads up. It could happen. ;)

yeah i guess i was vauge.

i worked at a porn place that basicly made 30-40% of it's money from search ranking placement. i know webcrawlers in and out and sideways.

unless you're lucky enough to have some really super, yet general keywords picked up by an algorhythm and get ranked really super high, i don't see that kind of traffic coming from one ranking in inktomi.

^I've seen the ip listings and such...They've been posted by the admin of those boards, who've also looked into why their guest count was so high. Both of those boards are not high-traffic boards anyways, so seeing 30-50+ guests at a time is really unusual.

We did in fact have them browsing the boards...almost 30 in total with similar ips...
