My mum grabbed a compaq notebook, and I've been using it lately, and it runs windows xp. Now for some reason fnk doesn't take up the whole screen, there's like an inch and a bit of space on each side, it's kind of annyoying. Can i and how do I fix it? Thanks...

If it's too hard to read at high res., you can lower the resolution of your computer by going into the Control Panel\Display Properties
Note: Some notebooks have shitty video cards that won't let you adjust the resolution or will give you big black borders around the lcd screen. |

HEY........
You need to go into the Bios and on the main page there might be an option for video expansion. Make sure it is enabled. Chances are if it is an option you have it disabled. This option when enabled strached the image out accross the whole screen wheter you are veiwing 800 x600 or 1024x768. Giver a try. |

Other things to make the text bigger:
In Internet Explorer, hit menu View / Text Size / Largest. Right click anywhere on empty spot on desktop, click Properties / Settings / Advanced /General Tab, and adjust the DPI to a larger setting like 120 dpi which will give you bigger characters. Mmmm sure wish I had a notebook. |
