this will surely achieve that.

why don't you add in a character count function to the edit user sig. window?

also the hyper link functions chows up a huge # of characters is there any way around this?

I like to have a lot of interactive links in my sig. I can't do much of it with a 500 charcter limit.

maybe there should be a fee for anyone who "needs" more than 500 characters in their sig... especially if you're using it for advertising. don't be a cheap bitch about it.
