Dear Friends
It has been a long time since I've been on here - but since I still care to keep those of you I know that still fnk - I thought I would give a quick update.
I'm back at the Cancer Agency - chemo, radiation - the whole 9 yards. If you have my lj, I'm trying to keep it updated. If not - too bad. There are a few people on here that I'm sure can update you. I know I'll be here until at least Friday - past that I'm not sure. Um ... my neuroblastoma never went away, I was still undergoing treatments, to Edmonton. But since my cancer is sneaky, it became too used to those treatments, and they stopped working as effectively as we would like. So much so, that on the 15th I had hip surgery - as the tumor in my hip joint made a giant mess, okay well a large amount of liquid formed in the joint causing a lot of pain and they had to remove the liquid in order to resolve the pain. So now I am left with a good 10" scar on my right hipish area there goes the underwear-modeling career I had always dreamed off. Anyways ... I'm okay for the most part. aw sweetie.. it was really nice seeing u last month :) it was a pleasant surprised.. keep staying strong, and dont stop fighting. keep us updated please and hope to see ya real soon. :)

Things are okay, I mean they have been better, but they have also been a lot worse. It's just a few steps in the wrong direction, on which I've already started the trip of turning around. I've finished my first round of chemo & I'm on day 4 of my radiation, of which I will have 10 doses. (They should be coming to get me soon). I'm pretty sure I'm going home for the weekend, then I'll just be doing out-patient for the rest of this radiation. Then in about 3 weeks, I'll do some more chemo. Past that, I have no idea - but I'll try to keep you guys updated. Sue; yes Jason & I are engaged. He proposed just a little over a year ago, Sept 25/05. No big date yet - but we are getting closer – probably spring '08. Bev; it was such a surprise to see you - you looked (as always) great! Dalyn; it's been a while since anyone's called me puma - I guess that's what happens when I stop the rave. haha! froggy-p; I wont ever stop fighting - I'm far too stubborn for something like a rare form of cancer to get in my way :P I’ve added you to my lj :) kraig; thanks :) as I’ve said, i will keep the updates coming. Hope you are all doing well :) Maybe I'll see you around :) Late, Allison
