I'm not trying to be the bitch in this thread, but if you want a cat, its for you to decide to get it, if you are currently living with someone that doesn't like them or then yes you should consider whether they want them or not.
I got my cat when I was 11, I'm now almost 23. My mom paid for the cat food and etc til I was 18, and then it was all me. They arn't cheap, food, the vet etc. My brother got a kitten cause he wanted one, then he moved into a place that allowed them, but he was never home and the cat ripped up the carpet. Guess who has his cat now? I do, I have two wonderful cats and I'm really lucky that where I live allows me to keep them. I have looked for a new place so I can live on my own and the only places that allow cats are dumps that I wouldn't consider living in. I just think there is a lot to think about when getting a kitten, they don't stay cute kittens for long either. ps kittens are cute |
