i used to live alone in a one bedroom suite. i used the bedroom for storage and had my couch, coffee table, bookshelf, dresser and bed in the living room. i did not like sleeping in the bedroom for some reason, i just felt that my space was too big for one person.
go for the bach! |

girlfriend lives in a studio basement suite and it's really not too bad if you aren't the type of person to like to bring guests home (that you aren't humping at least). Basically you're just forgoing your bedroom and a little less storage space but you can position a nice media cocoon and never really have to leave your bed when you're at home. So long as you're not a packrat or have a ton of furniture it's pretty decent (depending on layout and size). A studio apt is perfect if you're not really a homebody and like to go out a lot. It's also great if you like to spend most of your time at home alone.
1 bedroom is deifnitely more condusive to have people over just cause you can hide all your clothes and junk in your bedroom and have seperate space for sitting and chilling. Depends on how much you need your sleeping space and living room space to be seperate i guess.. |

i am in enough trouble as it is. now to add legitimacy to this post, if you have a studio you'll spend all your time in bed. maybe this is not such a bad thing WINK WIIIINK.

The only thing that I hated about a Bachelor, was that EVERYONE that came into my house made themselves comfy on my bed.
If you get a bachelor, try to find one with a nook so that you can possibly fashion it into a one bedroom with a curtain or screen if that sort of thing makes you uncomfortable. |
