i could never pick one of those things up because i can't see the point in paying to shop somewhere.

I think with the amount of $ I spend there at xmas it's totally worth it

yeah it helps if you got there for all your books. it works out to spending 250 bucks a year on books if you want to have your card paid off. that's like one trade paperback a month.

myra, i'm in today from 11-5:30 and then saturday from 3-close

same with me. i always had a card when i didn't work there. saved so much cash. i spend way more than 250 a year on books.

i don't know anybody that i would buy a book for for christmas, so the only reason why i would buy one of those cards is if i went there all the Time, but i like to go to used bookstores. i like their smell and i like hunting through boxes piled on top of one another, tossing away the ones that i don't want, and piling the ones that i do on the floor. i bought 12 books last week for only 24 bucks.

Everyone in my family always gets a book among other presents, I think books are good gifts, plus I've had an okay track record of picking out stuff everyone likes. yay.

i loved used bookstores as well, but i usually can't find all the ones i want to read in them. i bought most of my stephen king collection from used bookstores.

that is the problem with used bookstores, but i just use the used bookstores to find most of the books that i want and then i head to coles. i'm trying to keep coles alive :(

did you know that park royal has three bookstores? three!

sorry to tell you that coles is actually owned by chapters.

edit: they also own indigo and book company. the irewards card works at all those places.

maybe i should get one of their cards.

i hate it how one company will own so many others that are the same thing and give it different names. as though we really do have a variety of places to choose from.
