Those who haven't made it to Body Worlds 3
Alright, so this exhibit is gone January 14, and I know there are lots of people who haven't gone to it yet and I was thinking let's make a date for those who haven't gone to go and then we can get group rates. I hear it's really spectacular.
We can figure out some dates and then I will figure out if we can get a group rate. Regardless, it's only like 20 bucks or something like that and I am sure there are people that have 2 for 1 entrances to Science World and such. I was thinking about going either the week following Christmas or just after the New Year. Sunday's seem to work well for people, so we can do it a Sunday. Discuss! It is pretty cool, but it gave me a weird feeling in my stomach... and for some reason it had a weird smell in it.. like death haha. Cody wouldnt even look at the fetus exibit..but that was really cool. Deffinetly a once in a life time kinda thing.

Creeeeeeepy. i went yesterday, and with the lighting and few people there it was eery as hell. Interesting though.....to see how each muscle is layered on another and connected tendionously was great. i have a better understanding of my body now, and why my shoulder is bugging me. : P

Definately worth it. It's crazy how they're "mounted"....take a look for those that are going. Like the hurdler....he's mounted by some very small part on top of the hurdle, no other support bars. Or the other figures somehow make it seem like the bodies are REALLY light or REALLY rigid.....
I know I know, there were organs and stuff to look at, I was just mesmorized by the logistics in how they were structurally displayed. |
