Still have no idea why the stoppage was called, the whole bar was sorta in shock after the initial cheering died down. Standing outside with my roomates having a smoke its all i could hear is "Why was the fight stopped" etc.

Im so stoked for Mirko Crocop to come to UFC That guys a machine!

You know it's inevitable at this point. After Tito there isn't anyone on the current UFC roster who can stand with Chuck. With both Rampage and Mirko Cro Cop debuting at the next PPV you have to know that there are some crazy fights lined up in the future.

I was totally surprised by how easy Griffin went out too. He can usually handle a pretty good beating but once Jardine connected that uppercut it was lights out!!

Anyone else think that the head shot by Arlovski after that stoppage was kinda cheap? I guess the ref had said go... I dunno. I was up in the air over it. Technically Arlovski just took advantage of Cruz not being prepared.

Yay I was a little shocked it was stopped, I thought Tito was still defending himself. I wanted Liddel to win, but not that way. But I kindof saw that coming with the Ref they had for that fight, Mario always stops fights early. They should have had John ref it, he lets them brawl.

I think Tito was out... I wasn't disappointed by the stoppage at all. I mean be realistic here... what would it have gone? Another 10 seconds? Tito was NOT gonna get out of the trouble he was in there. Chuck had him beat at that point.

Chuck impressed me for sure though, I still would like to see him matched up against an actual striker (hopefully Rampage is next) - his style is so unorthodox but theoretically it's full of holes (he keeps his hands by his waist and his chin up). He matches up perfectly against wrestlers/ground fighters with adequate at best standup it would be nice to see him fight someone who could actually stand with him rather than being desperate to get the takedown.

I beleive that Chuck Liddell was meant to win even though I wanted Tito to win simply because if Tito won and with the new arrival of Quinton(Who will take out Chuck Liddell) there would of been problems trying to get two Team Punishment fighters to scrap it out.That fight was meant to go the way it did.Rampage will take the belt guaranteed!

Just looked. Rampage is fighting eastman. I saw him at elite fights in van. Couldn't even finish off Wuiff. THat was a horible fight.

I'd give chuck and jackson almost no chance of cutting down to 185 - those guys probably walk at like 220. Silva's a big guy, but from what I've read he probably walks at 200 or something. Him fighting at 205 would be giving up a crazy amount of weight so I doubt it would happen at LHW.

Would like to see Liddel finally face a striker though - all he's faced have been grapplers in the last couple years.
