the bundle includes the records.
that's it. Im pretty confused, im running wavelab for recording. the mixer goes into the hardware, then into my computer... dude said it cant be done unless i use a seperate audio card for recording. |

I record everything I play.
get a RCA Y cable, plug the RCA into 'Tape' or whatever into the back of the mixer, plug the cable into your line in (blue) connector on the back of your computer, and record it with something like Audacity (it's free.) Me and Project1 play at my house often and record our mixes, or stream it in Shoutcast, and I have torq. So the guy is obviously a stupid asshole! And Torq connects from USB on the unit to USB into your laptop. Don't connect it to a docking station though, it won't work. |

i'm having a problem where i'm getting some sort of feedback loop when i plug in my 2nd sound card but I think it has something to do with the fact that I'm running torq via a splitter to compensate for a volume issue.
You can record internally with Torq but i think you need to be running off internal mixer mode or using a midi controller/mixer. Last edited by dj_soo; Jan 24, 07 at 12:46 AM. |

btw, if you have a sound card that runs your monitors, you should be fine - connect torq, route your rec out line into your other sound card and record - just make sure that your line in is set to your other sound card and not conectiv.
PS - honestly, I'd wait a bit - still some bugs need to be worked out. I've been using mine and it works fine but there's a *lot* of niggling, annoying issues that make me want to switch to serato. Only thing keeping me with torq is the support for Apple Lossless (serato doesn't have this). |

I'll probably buy it tomorrow, im not going to be taking this stuff anywhere. I just want to play more underground stuff.
figure torque or some sort of timecoded vinyl route would be the best. But i would love to save my mixes for long walks with my ipod. |
