I finally booked an appointed, it's just getting too crazy...

my question to you is though, should i go short??

Any bored person wanna google me cuts?? I wish i had the time to dig, but
i have another paper to write, so i'll probably just show up there and see what happends. I have a really long face, and my mom and sister seem to think i'd suit a short hair cut. I'm not a fan of the idea so much.

After reading what happend to Alison, i am deeply afraid..i told them i 'might' color, and i want to i just can't handle my hair never being the right color...or having it too short that i look like a man.

Anyway..i understand my hair is not on the agenda of most people, i just thought i'd ask youuuuuu.

ps- i don't go til Thursday

ppss: Alison if you read this, i hope your hair is ok, and that you two had fun at the nucks game.

How short are we talking? Anything you are particularly looking for? Layers? Bangs? highlights or all over colour?

Actualy I could totaly see you with shoulder length hair, it would look really cute on on you and suit you. And you can always go shorter if you want after. I wouldnt worry too much about Alisons nightmare unless your seeing the same guy. Those things happen to all of us, but its really rare. If your just getting highlights I woudnt worry. If you want to totaly change your hair colour talk to your hair stylist about steps to take towards getting the colour you want. Example Before I went all dark I had a combo of blond and brunet highlights to get use to. Over all I would sugest not getting too much change done in one appointment. Get use to one change before you get something else done (if you like to take the safe route that is)

Nothing butchy ....I'd be down for layers if they looked hawt

Hair pictures!!!

You may not like any of them, and I didn't really know what to look for so I just found some good looking people with nice hair lol. I usually have to look through a million pictures before I decide on something. But I always seem to ask for the same thing. :p

is ure hair straight?
cuz if its straight i would totally go for a short (chinish length or a bit longer) funky, layered with bangs cut...
but thats only if its straight...cuz if u have crazy hair like mine its really annoying to have to straighten and style that every time...so if thats the case go for a medium length with lots of funky layers and then u can wear it straight and wavy and it looks cool both ways

Lauren i really like the first one, and i know nothing about hair but mine is really thick so what does that mean in terms of cuts?

I'm suprised there isn't a working hair dresser that i know on here, but i'm sure some ppl on here know random facts about hair, ie: Nev.

what is better for short hair, thin or thick? I can see how my hair would look wicked with bangs and short if i had thin, thin hair.

But yes, my hair is super straight and thick and it takes an army to curl.

^you know, my hair is stupid thick too...just get them to go nuts thinning it. I have a cut kind of similar to the top one but with more layers...you should have seen all the hair on the floor!

I like a lot of the cuts lauren posted. numero uno is prolly best suited to you... You can totally rock bangs, so if you're into em, giv'r! Also... the more thinning/layers you get cut into stuff (they can do amazing things with texturizing scissors) the more managable your hair is! ALso, if you want to play around with styles, it's actually easier. When I have long, drab layers they hang lifelessly. Where are you gonna to get it done?? You also have a great face for #2.

Tars, I think #1 is too harsh for your face.
I'd like to see you with something funky but soft, tonnnnns of layers and sweepy bangs (think Tiff's). I think you should keep it long but have lots of layers around your face for shape and tons throughout the rest for bounce and versatility. You're lucky to have thick hair b/c you can pull off a good amount of bangs without losing a ton of shape throughout the rest of your hair!

I'd say keep it nice and long, but throw lots of short layers in there to have fun with. Then, if you like the shorter layers around your face, you can take a few more inches off in a month or so. I'd ease into the shortening process though, the last thing you want is to be horrified with your short hair and have to wait years for it to grow back!

<3 yah i'm thinking i might want the side bang you've always suggested, and like Nev i see #2 possibly working, though i am very afraid to chop it all off. Hopefully tomorrow i'll get some time to flip through some mags for some long, short layered/side bang looks. :D

tiff - I think you WOULD suit the super short, and you know how i feel about your hair, as i compliment it constantly...
Gonna look at that cut in a sec, but you def. have the face to do a short 'dew'....i will try to get ppl to take pictures of the hair, tho i don't have a camera.

I'm thinking i will go a tad above the shoulder or something...

ps- ironically, a girl who use to have long, flowing hair came to school today with a newly shaved head. She looked cute tho, like natalie portmen...ppl with sideburns can't rock that.
