I was giving Sammy two BIG thumbs up for getting acceptance into Ryerson. The man has talent and an somebady obviously noticed it as well.

For those geniuses that think I'm whining about my 'karma' I really could care less if I had a bunch of green dots or a bunch of red ones.

The bottom line is that UBC sucked shit 10 years ago when I went for a year. I found out how crappy the instructors really were and I walked off the campus and went elsewhere.

UBC hasn't improved much since and if you think it has then you have been sucked in by the propoganda machine.

Rawb speaks the truth when he says that the skill of bullshitting gets you way farther in life than that piece of paper will.

i think the subject of schooling is so relative...as are other things. i, personally, wouldn't want to go to ubc ONLY because i have a chance to go to a school for something that really interests me. Winston, your point IS valid cuz you've experienced UBC first hand. I think the person who gave you bad karma is kinda cheap. not cuz they gave you bad karma (oh no. oh no. heaven forbid) but because they didn't really back up their opinion. it's kinda like kicking someone in the nuts and running away.

but yeah, different strokes for different folks. I, personally, can't fathom going to UBC even though i got accepted...only because i can't see myself doing anything that DOESNT involve art or photography in some aspect.

so yeah...winston you get MY two thumbs up for your post :)
