Funny thing about law of attraction..
About a year ago, I actually wrote down like a huge list of what I wanted in my life.. and they all started coming true. For instance, I wanted a singer I gelled with/suited my stuff, now I'm producing beats for a singer on virgin's label and I'm probably gunna move my studio into his place to work full time on music. That wasn't just random chance, that was me believing and wanting it then watching it come into my life. I didn't even seek him out, he came to me. That's just one of them though. Anyway here's the link to the vid.... The Secret - Google Video |

The weird thing about the Law of Attraction is that it's essentially a spiritual placebo. Your mind is making you believe that the Universe is bending to your will when really it is simply making the goal seem closer. All of your goals are possible and close, no matter how long they may take to accomplish, but in the end they aren't possible without effort. The effort is masked by the notion of the Law but, in the end, a spade is a spade and it's not going to dig on its own.
Eso said it best tonight though. Think pro-peace and not anti-war and you've got the Law of Attraction. I much prefer that ethical "believe change will happen" side of it, as opposed to the metaphysical "you can have anything you put your mind to" side, which is ironic because I'm a metaphysical man by preference. |

Word man. Pretty much everything is a placebo effect really. I like the one part in the vid where the guy mentions the fact all the cells in your body will be replaced in 3 years or so.. so you're essentially gettin a COMPLETELY new body in time. You can rid yourself of disease and cancer just by simply staying positive/strong and not dwelling on it.
and yes you have to have effort obviously, things don't just magically appear upon wishing. I used to procrastinate a lot, but now I just get shit done right in the NOW. that helps a lot. |
