^ Lauren, I must say I love you with bangs, it plays up your cheekbones and gives you more definition and character.
I think with your face shape and your skintone, you shouldn't go too light of a color, at least surrounding your face. You can go lighter, but keep it a little bit darker/natural on the parts that frame your face. You are very fair skinned and your features are softer/rounder and I find in my experience, dying your hair too light around your face, takes away definition. Hahaha I could probably talk hair all day. |

It was pretty bad blond at times haha :P I've dyed my hair lots of colours and found the blond worked well, but I agree to much around the face does kind of wash me out. Last edited by Kandyapple; Jun 06, 07 at 09:50 PM. |

The multi tonal look of the first one will give the impression of texture without needing to cut it like the second cut. Personally I'm not a fan of the actual cut (minus the bangs) of the second one, as I find it looks a little country starish - could be the way it's volumized.
I remember seeing the yellow blonde in your hair before Lauren, and I wasn't a big fan of it to be honest. I think some ash blonde, sunkissed blonde and strawberry blonde will look pretty good. Summer is all about multi-tones and a very color kissed look. Funny enough, I went back to dark hair like a week or so go. I miss the color kissed look though. |

Yah I think I'll steer clear of getting the whole cut as shown in the pic.
I'll probably just get the layers I have now cleaned up. I've always been pretty cautious when it comes to cutting my hair. I agree I don't want to go all over blond. In the past couple years I've always had layers, but I tend not to colour it for another 6 months so after a while it will all fade, and the different tones will become less prominent, which is probably the case when you saw my hair blond. The most recent time I had my hair coloured I went with a much darker colour underneath to keep a bit of contrast in my hair, and also had more of my natural colour worked in so it looked less obvious when it grew out. I think I'm going to keep some of the dark underneath this time, probably keep some of my natural colour on top, and then go with a light blond highlight, and a a bit of an auburn colour worked in as shown in the picture. |
