Does the company you work for do Summer Work terms for students?

oh hi everyone.

so it's really early, but a lot of places come january start looking for potential student placement over the summer and i am possibly looking for such an opportunity.

come summer i'll be in my 4th year of international business and marketing, and would be looking for something in that field. Chances of a global marketing job are slim, so really any marketing position in a company that is on a global scale would be fine so long as down the road somewhere there was a chance of advancing.

i know some of you, outside of your internet personae, are employed at well respected companies where an opportunity for myself might be present next year. even just a company name and website would be great, i'm not asking for any further assistance.

We like to thinks we're Global :P But really, a job in telecommunications can take you anywhere.

TELUS has great CO-OPs and you can specialize in Marketing either customer, retail or product (and more I'm sure if you specify).

i'm not actually in co-op...so if they're looking for an actual co-op student to be subsidized I'm not the person unfortunately. thanks though john and.....i want to say laura or lauren but i may be wrong.

if you're looking for a company where you can get your foot in the door i definitely recommend co-op. the pay is a lot lower than if you were just a regular employee, but you'll see a lot more large companies willing to accept a co-op student than just a part-time summer student employee.

also! you say international business? maybe you can find something abroad? :)
