meth0dical will become famous soon enough
seeing as how xbox1 was VERY stable, and failure rates were minimal, i dont understand how they're having hardware problems 2 generations running. i understand that failure rates on the first-run 360 are astronomical, but they are taking steps to rectify that. its too early to reserve judgment on the new falcon chip they're using in terms of stability, but theoretically they should be nearly fail-safe.

In July 2007, this version of the Xbox 360 began appearing with the Zephyr motherboard (the motherboard used in the Elite) which features HDMI 1.2 output and an improved GPU heatsink. Although the Premium package does include an HDMI 1.2 output, it does not come with HDMI 1.2 cables.[21][22] Starting at the end of September, the newest systems were shipped with the new "Falcon" motherboard. This motherboard includes the new 65-nm CPUs, making them quieter and cooler than the older systems.

Xboxes were all sold at a loss as well.

That's what I mean that they've been more trouble than they're worth. Microsoft doesn't care about stability, they care about profits. They only worry about stability if it's cutting into the profits.

XBox is not the problem; the Chinese manufacturer probably scraped heatsink paste off the recycleable computer parts we send them.

This might also explain the rise of nuttiness among the Asian poor, some of whom make less than the $8 CAD a day.
