This is Shadow & Cut Chemist playing together. I believe they have a 4x8 setup for this show (4 mixers, 8 turntables) and they're going to drop a veritable encyclopedia of rare breaks and grooves from their retardedly deep collections.

So yes, you are crazy for missing this show.

Good show... pretty much every type of tune was played or in some way used.

A bit slow in pace for my liking in certain parts, but I appreciated it for what it was and the amazing showmanship around it - 8 turntables, 4 mixers, matching visuals, etc.

Kid Koala's opening set was SICK!

the fact that they were able to come up with something fresh again was astounding.

when i saw that they had punctured their own spindle holes (offset from center) to create a "rev" effect, then, loop that...... i was in awe.

Totally agree with ya brutha... that's exactly what I meant by amazing showmanship. Crazy shit going down technically!

this show was off the hook. kid koala killed it... had never seen him live and i would watch that guy destroy those decks again and again. moon river never sounded so good ever. shadow and chemist didn't disappoint completely overwhelmed with how tightly they controlled those 45's. had too much fun at this show. the visuals were sick too.
