I was at a portuguese thanksgiving dinner.

Jim's mom's kitchen looks exactly like Sofia's mom's kitchen... just different photos

my family never really did any thanksgiving, i did not like turkey when I was younger.

I've never had pierogi for thanksgiving.

The only Portuguese touches this Thanksgiving were the stuffing with chorizo and black olives in it and the flan desserts.

So full it isn't even funny.

I wish I could have pierogi for every meal... but unfortunately I don't have the energy to always be making them.

i go to portuguese family dinners for the deviled eggs. but i didnt mind missing out today because usually half of the table isnt speaking english. and it is quite awkward.
plus...spag n balls makes a much better tgday dinner.

yeah I had a hard time understanding a lot of the portuglish they were speaking but it was a lot of fun and I went home with more leftovers then I could ever imagine.
