contractor/renovation type people
i need advice on retexturing a wall.
my suite has textured walls. not a course texture but smooth. prior to renovating, i was going to remove the texture, but many of the walls are concrete. which makes it a bit harder. i have ripped several things off of walls like cupboards and mirrors. this has damaged the wall. while the areas are unsightly - they arent huge enough to warrant renting a spray machine for the texture compound. have you done this before? any tips? |

no offense but this is the worst advice possible. unless you assign an extremely low value to your time and want a shitty job done it's easier/better to hire a pro. I know a couple people who do texture and could suggest them. I thought were considering getting rid of the texture all together though? for the record concrete is just as easy a surface as drywall to polish or texture. the only concern is that it isn't horrible concrete.
