Where: TOFINO Vancouver Island

When: Well working full time, I reckon the BC long weekend would be the best time to go out there :)

werd i stasyed in long beach for awhile a couppla' years bak and surfed, it was so fun , but ya need a wetsuit.

I took a whirl wind surf search trip a few weeks back. I've never even put on a wet suit,but my cousin has been in the gnar for years so he was going to teach me the swell.
but it was flat.
we were at the south-west end, I'd name the beaches but what if a bunch of ravers went there? it would ruin everything. enmass rave related ppl are bad for the ocean. tofino on the other hand is a party all summer.

Id just like to expeirence the surf in my home country with some friends!?! Or is that too un cool for tofino to handel?

oh shit. were you being sarcastic as well? now I'm all mixed up. all these intense emtions. crashing back between being smug at my being able to ruffle YOUR feathers and at the same moment I see you, blowing your hot air so violently, at me, that MY own feathers of grey and white are now ruffled. yeah no worries. but I'll have to get a job first. and then save up some clams to rent skins and a board for a few weeks.
and then I'll go. So give me a few weeks.
this sounds like an august thing. ( off I trot to go get a slave labour job)

i'm a wannabe as well... i cant surf for shit last time i tried i got tossed around like crazy. hahaha

whats surfing like in tofino? how big and consistant are the waves? and whats the underwater surface like? i mean damn if the waves are big then whoohoo but if a beginner like most people here caught a wave but didnt know what to do to when it comes to actually riding the wave and ends up getting mauled by the nasty waves... and the underwater surface was rocks and chunks of wood... shiet thats some MAHSSIVE pain yo.

but yeah it would be dope to be good at surfing... looks like alotta fun
