In the beginning, when Snyx and I first started building the site, we used money directly from our wallets to pay for all the registration costs and server bills. Myles donated a lot of his time developing the overall look of the site and since then we've had several major changes. After we got the ball rolling, server bills went up and we began to redirect money from gigs just to keep up with bandwidth fees and the purchase of additional software and hardware. So to answer your question... up until this point it has always been funded by our own wallets. In previous months (6-12 months prior) everybody from the FK team (Winston, Cece, Kaos, Myles, Me) has chipped in allowing us to switch servers and upgrade certain things. Most recently we constructed several ideas that would enable us to keep the expansion going, hence the addition of certain banners you’ll find located within the site. These will be positioned intelligently in order to maintain the feel and freedom of the site. As for all the sponsors and partners, we see it as a mutually beneficial concept and we welcome the support of any hardworking, community oriented companies in the Vancouver area.
