Any Montrealers out there?
So was anyone born in or visited Montreal or anywhere near it? Anyone have a clue where the West Island is? That's where I'm from. Been out here about 6 years now. In my opinion, much better pot here but way better chemicals out there.

Booya! Just finished my first year of studies at McGill. Was living on campus during the school year, and in an appt in the student ghetto for the summer semester. I have a couple friends that live out in the West Island, so I definitely know where that is! Do you go home to visit often? It's a great city...amazing nightlife...but the winters are SO freaking brutal!! Taking a year off to work in Vancouver, but I definitely will be going back to visit. I miss the afterhours there...Stereo in particular. Crazy partying nights!

I lived in Montreal for about 1 year,,, in 98-99. Nice city,,, reminds me a lot of New York only smaller. Great food,,, nice clubs,,, beautiful women,,, and good drivers (unlike here). Too bad I wans't into electronic muisc when I lived there,,, missed some great parties like Bal en Blanc and of course Red Light and Aria. I am getting booked in Quebec in November and hopefully Montreal as well so should be cool. peace.

Danny, are you KIDDING me? Good drivers? The people over there are INSANE on the road! Everyone makes two lanes in one narrow one and drives so recklessly (and are quite rude about it too!). Yeahhhh...I missed Bal en Blanc this year and some other great parties, but I definitely managed to catch some good stuff at the afterhours. That's so sweet that you're going to play in Quebec in Nov! Dress warm! :P

Um if you consider Montreal drivers, good drivers then I guess you've been playing GTA a little too much. In Montreal the drivers know how to drive, they just aim for people and get mighty cranky if they miss. In Vancouver nobody really tries to hit you, they just suck at driving. I shudder to think what a Vancouver driver would do if they moved to Montreal and had to get from point A to point B in the snow, without crashing into everything and everyone on the road.
