Awe babe! <3 Yeah, definitely drown yourself in that Vit C. You're going to pee most of it out anyways, but man, that day and a half that I overloaded on it, I was better by the next night to party hard for my b-day. I hope you get well soon love.
Things are better today. Slow, a bit bleh/cranky, but not too bad. Nothing's really wrong...it's just that I'm trying to cut out regular smoking cold turkey (smoking while drunk is still okay :P) and it's making me a bit testy. :P It'll go away soon though. I've already gone through this process a million times. |

I definitely did. I went to Trafalgers with my mom. She had the hedgehog cake and I had a lime and raspberry tart. We had the sweetest b*onding session in the world. When we got back home, she was all teary eyed and said "I miss spending time with you like this and being so happy." Man I'm so fucking lucky to have her and to have things be the way that they are now. We've come a really long way. <3 But as you can see, I get my emotional and sap side from her. lol. Not the softy part though...that comes from pops. :P
Yes, Yoko* and Erica date is needed! Anytime you're feeling better babe, and I hope that it's soon! |

I was just going to add... you CAN suffer from vit c toxicity with symptoms of nausea, abdominal cramps, reverse scurvey, headaches, kidney stones or urinary tract problems. to avoid toxicity, it might be good to eat or drink lots of vit c rich foods or drinks rather than taking supplements.
as for vitamin c being a cure for a cold, I've controversial things from different textbooks but overall, it's healing effects seems to be more attributed to a placebo effect rather than the actual therapeutic effects of vitamin c. sorry, I love to nag people about nutrition. --Joanne :P (not an RN, but getting there....) |

whoa, bad advice from yours truly. ;) it worked for me and i only did it over the course of one day, so i'm sure it's nothing that would have had those effects. but yeah, it was definitely done from an uneducated quick-fix pov...no harm meant!
and yes sean, it IS crazy cause i am crazy. you should know that by now. |
