nah, I don't think any one's doomed to be held in the grasp of their past forever. Negative experiences are a reason to be more cautious/aware... In the end, when that some one amazing comes along and treats you with the respect that was never reciprocated in the past, you'll know not to take it as a granted quality of all human beings, and value it.

But in relation to this topic, I'm wondering why you guys are taking pride in treating others like shit? (minus the scapegoat asshoile answer) Why is this such a competition of "who's a bigger asshole"? I've found that many people use "I'm an asshole" as an excuse, and most real assholes are those who don't realize the severity of their actions. Either you still believe that most women are attracted to assholes, or you realize you've fucked up in the past and only know to deal with it by denying responsibility for your actions by attributing the blame to your apparently BIOLOGICALLY DETERMINED ASSHOLINESS. Sure, who hasn't? I've heard many guys (mainly) reassure themselves that the only reason why they couldn't get a girl was because they were the "nice guy" and that they should have perfected their game by being a jerk. your post didn't make a lot of sense to me, but I'll reply with what I understood.

I think it's kind of odd that you put so much faith in all these cliches without even questioning their validity. Many people will use such quotes to represent themselves in defense of thesmelves,and a lot of people fail to realize/admit how they themselves may have been at fault.

If a guy is constantly finding that every girl he meets ends up being a bitch to him, then maybe he has REALLY BAD TASTE in women or the women realize that it was in REALLY BAD TASTE, that they chose to go out with the guy.
