I want to make me a nice transparent watermark. for my photos. The good ones, not the ones in my gallery ;)

How do I do this?

here are some examples of why I need me a good watermark:

P.S the originals are off the hizzy.

i don't know how to create ACTUAL watermarks...

but if you just want transparent text:

1.type your text out...change it to the size you want...change it's location etc etc
2. when you've done that, click on the text layer in the "layers" window (if you cant see it, click on window in the toolbar at the top of screen and click on layers)
3. once the text layer is highlight in blue...look up in the upper right hand corner of the layers window (i believe it's the upper right hand corner) and you'll find a thing called Opacity with a little slide bar next to it
4. slide that bar down to like 50% and the text will become transparent
5. flatten the image

hopefully that's what you meant???

i like the picture very much (the first picture you posted). judging from your photos, you have a really good sense of composition and design elements. very nice indeed.

and as for the 2nd photo. you false advertised. you said bum. i expect to see nekkid bum. you lied. but i'll forgive you this time. i, did however, make that picture my desktop image. just kidding. but we can pretend.

First I found a font, did it up in a seperate file, dropped it in, embossed it then messed with the opacity. Thanks for the help:)
