CO2 or nitrogetn T cylinders shouldn't be hard to get. The only thing is they are heavy as hell, you need a pressure regulator because they are usually at around 2200psi straight out of the bottle. Phone praxair or Air Liquide.

I can "borrow" a pressure regulator from work no prob - don't worry about the physics/engineering of said cannon - i've got that covered, but i'm not sure that either praxair or Air Liquide will rent me a cylinder without having a company or some very good reason for needing it - i can always lie i guess, but I'm somewhat weary of going through them - there's probably other smaller companies that have them?
