I have to say that's still a pretty rediculous standard for a school... if a job wants to hold up their employees to that, then that's a little different... but 45 wpm!? I like to think I can type reasonably fast and when I tested myself (I was bored at work one day ok) I could only get 42 - I'm not sayin I couldn't get 45 but like you said if you were nervous at all it's just really easy to fuck up...

ps. you should've slapped the bitch and said "Damn... looks like the back of my hand came close enough to your face biatch!"
