Hi From Seattle

Well I don't have time to fully explain the situation but I've started my new job and I'm on a training assignment in Seattle for the next 11 weeks. In brief I'm doing well and look forward to getting home, hope you're all doing well!

Well I'm sure learning a lot and actually having a pretty good time. It's been long days so far though so I haven't got to do anything but work.

11 weeks!! That's like the whole summer.
So did they put you up in a posh hotel or something? Where ya staying because thats a pretty long time...

Thanks Dave, but why would you be surprised to hear I'm in the states? My whole family is American afterall (me being first generation Canadian).

I'm staying in a guest bedroom of an organizer down here right now but they're getting me into an appartment soon, I hope. Things are a bit crazy as far as that goes but are slowly coming together.

So my first day in the field (yesterday) I was working on a voter registration campaign and we were south of Seattle in an area called Kent at a bus loop accross the street from a Federal Prison. At first I was a bit nervous but after a while I got going with the work at hand and ended up with 11 voters signed up.
