Yes, yes it does... AVGAS tastes quite bad as well... also makes your eyes burn for a couple hours.

I'm fully trained and certified to handle Dangerous Goods and I've done Basic Firefighting. lol As long as there's an Extingusher nearby we'll be good. :)

there won't be any forest fires.

the area that we have chosen for the fire is well away from any trees or shrubs. and it is on pavement, like justin said.

i've had really big bonfires here before, and we've never had a problem. :)

That's a great idea... Just as a precaution, you should have buckets of water or a fire extinguisher. You'd be surprised what the cops will let you do if they see you are prepared and taking care of things.

then walk back down to where you saw the sign

this is very important!
we don't want to heat the place out by parking right at the entrance
