I'm leaving to Ethiopia June 29th for 2 months to visite family and work on an Archeological dig. For the first 15 days though I am going to be alone, my parents are pretty happy that we were awarded grants(my cousin is a genius just finishing up his Phd) so they are sending me to Tanzania for 12 days on a Safari (The Serengeti) and to check out the coast (to see pictures go to google and search “Tanzania Beaches” and click on images, they are amazing). Then I head back to Ethiopia, where my cousin and I will visite relatives all over the country. Then for the second month of the trip we work on the dig.
To give u some idea how cheap shit is over there I’ll list some products that I purchase frequently:
1.smokes= 40 cents American
2.beer= 45 cents American
3.Coffee= 15 cents American (Did u know that coffee originates from Ethiopia)

I’m pretty excited I’ll be back August 31st just in time for my third year at UBC. My last party of the summer will be CRAVE so if u see me give me a holla.
