help w/ wireless router

If theres anyone who can help me configure this today w/ my two computers it would be greatly appreciated.

I have looked at the user manual and everything but im still having trouble getting them up and running. PLEASE HELP.

well when i try to connect to the routers address 128.blah.blah.blah it asks me for a pssword, it should autmatically go to the hawking setup site

I can find it for you if you want....most are admin and then the password field is blank

i've found that most have the username left blank and the password as admin actually.. try both.

Make sure that you're encrypting the signal for your wireless connection. They caught a guy the other day that was driving around in his car with a wireless card in his laptop. The cop pulls him over with no pants on and looking at kiddie porn from someone's wireless connection. It's real easy to do and it could really save your ass from people logging onto your personal network.

it has to do with the comp thats trying to connect to the router wirlessy. It cant even get an ip address?

my linksys doesn't require a username, but the password was admin before i changed it. what kind of router is it?

has the wireless nic ever worked before on another router?

hahah a few monthes ago our internet wasnt working and it wouldn't let me connect to our other computer upstairs so i searched for other connections and i was connected to like my neighbours computer. it workd!!
