some dreams stay with us forevor, usually one's where REM is involved and a deep sleep (even though dreams are usually when the brain is still vastly awake) it's quite a study, really.
Most people can remember dreams dating back to when they were in their crib. It's funny how that works. |

Sexual dreams usually express hidden desires; the way we would like to express sexually, or problems in this area. Although sex is symbolised in many dreams, where it appears directly it shows that the dreamer is able to more easily accept their sexual urges and hurts. What is then important is to attempt an understanding of what setting or drama the sexual element occur in. Our psychological and sexual nature, like our physical, never stand still in development unless a pain or problem freeze them at a particular level of maturity. Therefore, our sexual dreams, even if our sex life is satisfactory, show us what growth, what new challenge, is being met. Quote:

if you haven't read that book why are you giving people answers that there is no way in this world to prove are right....
i hate how horoscopes and dream decyphering is all consisting of SUPER general words and sentences and EVERYONE can relate to it, but people that are of a certain sign, or had a certain dream are the ones saying that OMG SO TRUE even tho no matter how you look at it, you can end up saying OMFG SO TRUE.... i dunno if that made much sense... let me reformulate the sentence in my head and i'll definately get back to you on this one... |

Horoscopes and determining dreams are two different things, similar, but totally different. Like people who think psychics are talking to their 'past loved ones' - 'sounds like a b' 'uncle bob?' 'no....' 'bill?' 'no...' 'can I buy a vowl?'
I'm not being a psychic or reading people their horoscopes, dream interpretation is very real, and things in a dream do mean something. Don't you find it ironic that some of the people who have had the dreams stated above, and I told them what it ment, it something that is going on in their life at that present time? I mean, it's not rocket science or a wild guess, things people dream really do represent certain things. Like teeth falling out, or having sex, or walking down a dark path, or falling. We dream the same dreams, everyone does. Not everybody has the same horoscope. You can tell a lot about somebodys dreams, it's just kind of spelling out your inner desires, and things that you dont normaly look at, but your subconcious is telling you. Not everybody can relate to your dreams. If you told me you had a dream of an elf and he stole your bag of chips, and ran off to candy land, and you traveled on a submarine to get him and found out the elf was your uncle.. This specific dream may have hidden meaning to something in someones life who dremt it, not to the person next to them who dremt of falling off a ladder. Know what i'm sayin? |

easy.
do you know this chick, how close are you to your buddy? is it someone you have feelings for? Feet suggest your contact with reality, your foundations and having 'one's feet on the ground'; to be well or badly 'grounded'; fundamental issue in our life. And you feel that this certain someone is being a sucker, or a fool for either falling for this person, or you feel something is not necessary. Her feet on your lap means your taking the ass end of it, taking responsibility for his, or her actions. Just think about that one for a minute and see how it all fits in, or if you can remember anything else in the dream to try and put the pieces together. |

If you remember the number in your dream it's easier to determine. These are difficult to define, and are very often only connected with personal associations. They may refer to a particular year of your life, number of a house you lived in, date that something happened, how many children you have, and their order of birth. They may thus draw your attention to these events and emotions surrounding them. They may also refer simply to multiplicity or size, as a crowd of events, a big experience, a many faceted realisation. However, since humans could first count, numbers have had a fascinating, mysterious and even magical significance. In this way, early man found in numbers realisations of inner qualities, spiritual understanding, unconscious wisdom. Dreams often use numbers in the same way. The letters may refer to childhood, or to basic lessons in life. When something is near to you in your dream, it shows the strength of your feelings about it, or how aware of it you are. The nearer it is, the more conscious and feelingful you are about it.

I had this recurring dream for like two years. It was really scary.
I'd always wake up, like half awake, and I would be in my bedroom. There would be some scary thing always trying to get in my room, or was already in my room. I could never see it, and did not know if it was human, animal, ghost..whatever. Anyways, in my dream I would get up and be running around my dark apartment (and later when I moved, my house) and sometimes I'd be running down my own street trying to get the fuck away from this thing. Often I'd try to scream but I wouldn't be able to. This thing never actually got me, but it always fucking taunted me. Then I would do these things where I'm freaking out being like 'FUCK JUST WAKE UP WAKE UP' and I wouldn't be able to, then I would think I was awake, but I was actually still in the dream. This would actually happen at least once a week for almost two years. it's pretty fucked. |

Myra,
This is a common dream for a lot of people. In fact, i've had two dreams that were similar, but I was actually fully aware of everything going on. It both happened at my friends place, while sleeping on his couch, my eyes would be open but I would be sleeping. I knew where I was, and I could see this figure standing over me, I would yell WAKE ME, WAKE ME, but I couldent udder the words, but I was actually saying them out loud, it was just extremely hard, nor could I wake myself up, I felt all my body parts for something I could move because I was literaly paralyzed, I managed to move my leg enough so it would drop off the couch and woke myself up, I was fully aware of my dream and knew exactly what was happening, it was so intense. I had one a couple monthes earlier, but I literally yelled to wake me up and my friend came out running and woke me up. Trippy shit if you ask me. What your experiencing is known as a lucid dream, it's pertained within the stage of REM. Anything moving toward you in a dream usually signifies that you are becoming more aware of it, feeling it more intensely. So being chased in a dream usually denotes that you are feeling something you fear more intensely and are trying to avoid confronting it. This is not usually a good policy, as you can never get away from yourself. Being in a lucid dream and imagining someone chasing you, is your trying to escape yourself, this is who is chasing you, it's nothing to be afraid of, but your afraid of what you will become along the road. If you ever have this dream again, if you concentrate hard enough, you should try to alter your state of reality and stop running, turn around and chase them, I think this can only be obtained when you truely know yourself, and we all know I'm no fucking buddha. Lucid Dreaming is knowing that you are dreaming while you are doing it. When you know that you are dreaming, you can also alter the dream course. And with practice you can also develop full control over your dream, you will be able to create and change the environment and change your own appearance. It will be you that are in control of the dream scenario. You can do whatever you want to do. Live out your wildest fantasy, or just sit down and chit chat with someone. You should also be open for the possibility to share dreams and travel in time and space when you develop adequate control over your dreams. With more experimintation, lucid dreaming can actually become a second state of reality, though it takes years of mental preperation to accomplish, it can be much better then living life itself. Hope that gives you a better understanding. |

Also, if anyone is interested: (for those of you who are christian, this is extremely demonic reasoning)
This technique works by focusing on your Third Eye Chakra that is located slightly above and between your eyebrows. Set your alarm clock so that you will wake up after 6 hours. Look up and at the center of your Third Eye before closing your eyes. Keep your eyes in this position as you close them. Give yourself appropriate affirmations until you fall asleep and visualize yourself having a lucid dream or leaving your body. If you haven't fallen asleep within 3 minutes, move your eyes back to normal position and try to fall asleep. When the alarm clock wake you up, go to the bathroom and fresh up. For the next hour read some material on Lucid Dreaming or Out of Body Experiences. After reading for an hour go back to bed; roll your eyes back to your Third Eye. State your intentions for 3 minutes or until you fall asleep. One of three things will most likely happen. You will have a Lucid Dream, have a false awakening or wake up paralyzed that you might use to leave your body. At the very least should you experience vivid dreams. For more details look into The SUNEYE Method by Joe Russa. |

I had another one of those lucid dreams, first one in my apartment.
Exceeept this time the girl from the grudge was in my bed with me, just reaching at me but never being able to fully get me, I tried to get myself to go towards it or to get out of bed or whatever, and I wasn't able to get myself to do it, I just lay in bed screaming but making no noise (and thinking to myself..waaake up). This is strange because almost always when I have these dreams whatever is coming at me always chases me out of my room, sometimes out of my place and out onto the street, but not this time and I don't know why. |
