Peeps that live in Kits

Do you know of a car repair/servicing place called "The Garage?" It's on MacDonald.

Just curious to know if any of you have ever used them for servicing and what that experience was like.

yeah... they're super expensive though... but in my experience, when they worked on our company vehicles they did a good job.

i'm suer you could find another mechanic shop that will do the same job but for cheaper

It's been there for ever so they must be doing something right, but like filoface says, they do cost an arm and a leg... but then again so do most other things in Kits.

Hmmmmm thanks for this note... Yeah... there prices are not cheap, but they are also not super expensive. The thing I like is that with anything they work on or touch, ALL parts and labour is 1 year or 20,000km's.

My car is due for its MAJOR servicing... I know the bill is going to be over $1500.

Ouch! I hate it when I have to get my car serviced. It's just another bill I hate having to pay.

Ya, I live right by that place. Yeah it is kind of expensive. A friend of mine went to get his gear box fixed @ Trouble shooters at like 5th and Main, and said it wasn't too bad.

Kraig, there are several right on Arbutus in between 12th and 13th. It goes, (going from north to south) Aamco, Midas, Mr Lube, and Varsity Automotive. Id say that prolly varsity might be your best bet. Aamco only does transmissions. I hope that helps. Cheers

Surely it can't be more expensive than the dealer? If so, your probably much better off hitting up a real Honda dealer. 1500 dollars doesn't sound like a regular maintenance bill. A type 4 maintenance at honda is something like 470 dollars

ouch! :)
