May I suggest a few as Ive been to a few places down that way...
Grenada depends when you plan on going but if they get the Hurricane mess cleaned up Grenada is cheap has some quality hotels and much of the Island is still 20 or so years in the past.. There is a beach I dont remember the name but when we went there they had a river flowing into the ocean picturesque White sand with Palm and nutmeg trees shading you water toys were cheap to rent 5 bucks got ya a days worth of toys.. Barbaidos is great if you got the wallet to carry yourselfe around there fuckin 20 US for a burger and fries on the beach is a killer.. St. Maarten nice place and it has a pretty good night life well the dutch side anyways.. St. Lucia is nice but has a bit of a crime problem if your there I would suggest sticking around the main tourist spots and that isnt much fun.. Margarita Island Venezuala That was a nice place you could walk for miles along the beach and find all sorts of cool shit.. The bartenders on the beach were some of the nicest I had the opertunity to meet down there they hooked me up with a free 26 of rum mmmm rum.. PS: Here never let some one try to haggle with a restaurant over bags of chips it wont work people.. Aruba is beutiful but also expensive.. St Kitts/ St Nevis Nice place but I dont remember much being there Curacoa ya know like the blue liquour great place take the factory tour all the shots you can handle in 10 diff flavors mmmm..

There aren't very many package offerings there -- so it would be more work but it's possible... We could always do something less exotic like miami or hawaii if people prefer.

And thanks for the info Bongman! Ideally I would like a place that's not super expensive, offers all inclusive package deals (less to worry about), has some sort of security outside of the resorts and a night life... I went to the Domincan earlier this year and it was beautiful, not so expensive -- but security off the resorts was minimal and the night life (near our resorts at least) was almost non-existance (or maybe that was just because I slept the entire time)
Probably where I will get all this is in Mexico -- but I am really trying to avoid there, because most of us have already been.

from what your saying looks like your lookin for a place like St Marrten.. It is a Dutch island well half of it anyways other half is French has a night life from what I remember and most of the buildings are pastel colors crazy dutch..
