Hey I was just wondering if you ended up checking out the show last night, I dropped by after work but I had to leave before Josh Martinez performed so I was kind of disappointed about that.
The place was really crowded, the vibe was great.. and there was some guy mcing who just blew me away (Apparently he puts on a show at Shine on Saturdays). His style was really unique, it sort of reminded me of Andre 3000.

no unfortunately i didnt get a chance to go, i had to go to a friends bday party at luce.
i was really disapointed that i couldnt go, i was looking forward meeting you. hopefully there will be another show in the near future. ps: i've seen mc that you were talking about. i dont know his name either but i saw him at shine the last time i was there. it was so dope, he was walking through the crowd and freestyling with another mc.

he's really awesome eh? I'm thinking of catching him at Shine on an upcoming Saturday (wishful thinking considering my schedule).
If I hear of any upcoming shows I'll let you know. Another local MC I want to see perform again is Kaboom, he's part of Ink Ops and he puts on a really good performance.

yeah i really want to see ink ops one of these days. i've only heard good things about their live stuff.
if you can find the time in your busy schedual, you should really consider coming to de la soul on the 20'th. i have a feeling that you would probably really enjoy it.
