Hey everyone, a few of my friends are organizing a poker tournamnet at UBC on the 22nd and the finals will go onto the 29th. Its 25 $ buy in and you get to play until you are all out . . . the grand prize is 500 $$ KASH !! And many other smaller prizes. If anyone is interested in playing some TEXAS HOLDEM let me know and ill give you guys more info.

Ok . . . well registration started today at UBC. But if you cant go all the way out there, we can arrange another place to meet. The winners are determined at each round by elimination. So who ever is last standing from each table will move on to the next, and the top 2 from round 2 will move on to third and so on . . . The buy in is 25$ and you get, about 200 bucks worth of chips and you play until you clean everyone out, or you dont have any more chips. The grand prize is 500 KASH and i dont know how much of the fees is going to the prizes.

since its on a friday.. is it during the day? what if some people can't take the day off work?

you can register all the way till friday, even at the door. It ll start at 6 pm friday, in one of the SUB ballrooms. I believe it ll be 5 per table.

ok people, the registration booth is at the SUB at ubc now. U wont miss us. ill probably be there every day so if you go to ubc or happen to be in the area dont be shy. Hope some of you can make it out to this.
