the only party i would pay 100+ is shambhala... hell i would pay 500 for that party... but at least its worth it.

For most partys ive been to in van... None of them have been worth over $50 imo. But funny thing is some of the best partys ive been too including talent, set up adn ppl have been $5-$25 range In vancouver.

May I add in Australia:
$135 (aprox $100 CAN) to see Basment Jaxx and Roger Sanchez on NEW YEARS EVE right beside the bridge with the best fire works veiw!!!

$25 Aus to see Gram gold on the beach Christmas day with Kid Kanobi and Q45

$55-$70 to see Basment jaxx, timo mas, sister bliss, plump dj's, scratch perverts, LTJ Bukem and MC Conrad, Krafty Kuts, The Freestylers, Felix da house cat, Grahm Gold, Soul of man!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
sadly this even sold out just b4 I returnd to sydney :(

Oh and for $60-$90 range they had massive raves on the amusment parks with rides in full operation all night.

Then again Sydney gets alot more suport, more compitition, and the city obviousely suports rave/club culture way better then vancouver....

I think theres a limit to what you should pay for these parties kids...

the way I see it, some people have lots of money and are willing to pay whatever is needed to get into certain parties. others don't have lots of money and think the other people are stupid.

if you got the money and want in, pay it.... if you don't have the money, don't.. and don't whine about the people who are paying lots, i mean who really cares?

But if people keep paying these absurd prices for half ass parties (I am not talking just lineup wise here people, but sound and production etc) this will become the norm... When great acts play on shitty stages and systems it defeats the purpose.

i paid 140 at the door from a guy there...... yes it was worth it my first rave, and well i was with friends it was first rave, 2 buddies birthdays..... price DOES affect me because i gotta pay for school and shit which is expensive + try to work around those days inorder to make enough money......

some people yeah money is no issue, to other like me it is but sometimes you gotta let loose and for me this was fully worth it, i had such a blast.
