cats can get heart murmors?

He's had it since he was born.. it's a birth defect.. it's just gotten a lot worse :( I took him in cause I thought he had a bladder infection which he does.. and when the vet was checking him he's like wow this cat needs to be on heart medication. He was a 3 out of 6 on the heart murmer scale thing and now he's a 6.. so they have to do an ultra sound and put him on meds :(

I have three cats... two I've got with my boyfriend when I still lived in ontario... the third one I've had since it was a kitten and it lived with my parents up until a month or so ago when it came to live with me.... it's the one that lived with my parents that is sick.
