i tried going for "the nice guy" this is what happened...
so we go to a movie one night (not as a date or anything) he insists he pays and i say no.. so he pays anyways and he pays for food! grrr i hate that. but anyways the next day he asks me to go get something to eat or whatever.. so we go get timmy hoes i said i didnt really want anything and he buys me something.. so whatever we hang out at his house just watching tv... then the next day Everyone is telling me that i am going out with this guy? wtf he was totally thinking we were bf and gf.. thennnn he wouldnt stop calling me and bugging me and on msn he wouldnt shut up about making out with me.. and ugh i dono.. so i just started to ignore him cuz its annoying when guys are overly nice! so he fuked off for a while.. now he is trying to flirt with me again! grrr

The reason girls don't want the 'nice guy' is the same reason guys dont like girls who seem really interested.
Most guys and girls succumb to the classic 'want what you can't have, and ignore what you can have' syndrom. Think Archie with betty and veronica. Betty was a total babe who would do anything for our man archie - but he was always chasing that vindictive bitch veronica - why? because she was hard to get. Nice guy = unexciting and no challenge. That doesn't mean be an asshole, but it does mean stop being so eager and easy to walk all over.

Aite, well here's wat I gotta say on this topic:
I think that these "nice guys" are the type of guys who put on an act in front of gurls just to try and please them - or vice versa. In other words, faking who you truly are just to try and impress the gurl you wanna be with like sucking up to their interests all the time. :338: This more likely drives them crayzee, does it not? :284: In my honest opinion, keeping a relationship by hiding who you really are will not last. I mean how long can you actually keep up this fake identity if ur not being urself? someday, you will learn that girls are fucked. they say they like being treated well, but i find that the girls you dislike the most are the ones who keep crawlimng back for more.

I think people get "nice" and "pathetic" mixed up...
a lot of the times, "nice" guys are so pathetic, they let women walk all over them. They have no back bone and so the women get bored and leave. There is a big difference between being nice and being pathetic. Also, I've noticed a lot of guys may be assholes to other people but when it comes to their women, They're truly gentlemen. Of course, this doesn't apply to all men, but it does apply to a fair amount of them.
