It's Nanaimo... not Yaletown. lol It'll be slim pickings for "trendy" the closest trendy places are in Victoria. Unless we go to Duncan for Fry Bread and cans of Lucky!!! :D

i used to live there, i'd suggest the modern cafe. otherwise fast eddies, cactus club, and acme are your best bets.
