hey i went to c the other day!
go for the salmon appy if you like smoked salmon, they give you 3 diff kinds with some creme freche and crackers + cucumber jelly. the soup was allright, came with a couple lobster knuckles but it was hella pinner like a teeny puddle in a big dish. for the main courses.. the risotto was allright, came with big chunks a mushrooms but if you don't do well with tons a cream or butter get something else. the stripped shrimp on top were tasty tho! the trout was basically pan seared, and on top of a bunch of crab meat. nothing spectacular, but they did do a good job. the fish was cooked perfectly, but only as amazing as pan seared can get. the duck was good! the breast was very very good. the leg was aight, but the duck was my fav plus the biggest outta the 3 choices. for the dessert, there's this citrus tart...reminded me of my grandmas lemon pies...meh. i had the chocolate one, and i like chocolate. comes with triangle of chocolate ice cream cake and then this thing of brownie with choco sauce over it. $22 includes wine tasting but they're so chintzy with the wine you might as well get a bottle to split. for $45 they also have this lobster tasting thing...comes with lobster carpacio, white chocolate creme brulee...looked good, didn't get it tho. i'm assuming you're going for the dine out, hope this helps in chosing the appropriate dishes! good times! i'm off to west! |
