i've never been there, but i've heard bad things.

i'm sure this is totally going to lessen my e-popularity, but i actually had fun the one time i went. it's almost the bourbon.. people are nice, and less chachi than at the other granville clubs. the music is a house band, but that actually makes it kind of fun. i wouldn't go every week, but it can be a fun yearly thing.

whoa there missy! the roxy is NOTHING like the bourbon. you know, in some parts of the city you'd be accused of being a heretic for saying that.

ps-i've been there more than once and had fun there too.

i will have to carefully compare the roxy and the bourbon tonight, before i get drunk. the last time i was there i was slightly inebriated.

but really, if you add skids and cheaper beer, and replace some of the older customers of the roxy with the randoms who stay in hostels.. the bourbon and the roxy are kinda similar. ;)

the roxy is "not bad" the bourbon is "great".
